Maintaining a fleet is costly and time consuming. Private donations and grants allow for Anchors Away to serve many more people in our community. Other options are to sponsor someone for a day out on the water or hire Anchors Away for a private charter. Donate today and help the disadvantaged athletes of Charleston!
Corporate Sponsorship
Currently, the Anchors Away Program is sponsored by Southeastern Medical Equipment, Benefit Focus, Royal Purple, NOAA, The Charleston City Marina, Tow Boat US, Cummins MerCruiser Diesel, Regions Bank, Dash, and Skibo's Neighborhood Grill. Volunteer
Volunteer effort is the heart of our program. Hundreds of volunteers have contributed to the program. For over a decade these efforts have run ski clinics, maintained our fleet, and assisted in outings and fundraisers. Wish List
Some items that are needed for our program to operate include the following:- Safety Equipment: Type 1 PFD's, flares, fire extinguishers, Handheld GPS
- Boats/Motors: motors, props, electronics
- Boat Maintenance: filters, spark plugs, oil, batteries
- Fishing Equipment: rods, reels, inshore, offshore
- Sailing Equipment: anchors, lines, paint, parts
- Office Equipment: printer, furniture, stationary
